Lamps: indispensable nowadays

Today, we can’t live without light. If you want to be able to read a good book in the evening after work, you will soon have to turn on one or more lights in the winter months. The lamps that we all have at home are lit for quite a few hours a day. In business, lamps often burn for much longer. There they can sometimes burn all day.

So we can’t ignore it: without lamps we are nowhere nowadays. But the downside is that it also takes a lot of energy. This is not only unfavourable for the wallet, the environment also suffers. However, you can change this and that is actually not that difficult. Read below how you too can make a positive contribution to the environment!

Save money on your lighting

By using Led Highbay lighting, you can ensure that your energy consumption is drastically reduced. And the less energy you use, the less costs you have. Visit all the rooms in your home or business premises and see which lamps can be replaced. Halogen and incandescent lamps are real energy consumers. If you still use them in your home or business premises, replace them with energy-efficient LED lighting. Although this may initially be a large investment, the lower energy consumption eventually pays for itself.

Lifespan Led Highbay

The lifespan of the Led Highbay lighting is one of the biggest advantages of this type of lighting. The Led Highbay has a much longer lifespan than other lamps. For example, an incandescent lamp only lasts about 1000 burning hours. Which means that you will have to buy a new lamp every year. A halogen lamp lasts a little longer, namely 3000 hours. But you will also have to replace these in a few years. This applies to private use, i.e. in homes. If you have a business, you have to dig into your pocket again after about 125 days if you leave the lights on 24 hours a day.

LED Lamps are a big step forward in that respect. LED lamps last about 20,000 hours. This means that you will no longer have to worry about it in the coming years. In addition to the longer burning time, LED lamps are also a lot more durable in the sense that they break less quickly. Where incandescent lamps have a filament that can break, LED lamps do not have it. Also, no less than 90 percent of all energy is actually converted into light. This is only ten (!) percent for halogen and incandescent lamps. The rest is converted into heat.

LED lighting is the future

As you have read above, LED lighting really has the future. It saves a lot of money, you don’t have to replace them every year, and they are also much better for the environment. A win-win situation!
